Organic Celtic Sea Salt
Celtic sea salt, also commonly known as Sel gris or gray salt in French, is harvested from seawater in the estuaries near the town of Guérande in France. As the tide comes in, seawater is first allowed to settle in clay silt ponds where the combined effects of wind and sun form a dense brine.
Celtic sea salt is very different from regular table salt. This sea salt contains natural minerals and some electrolytes. It does not raise blood pressure. It has health benefits if used moderately in your food. It also contains some natural iodine which may aid thyroid function.
It is a magnificent Super-Food abundant in essential Minerals, including the master mineral Magnesium. Trace elements are found in minute quantities in seawater and in natural unrefined sea salt but are often absent in food. It's the Real, Grey, Course Salt that should be the only choice for a Salt.
